  • JAccess Funding Application

    JAccess Inclusion Grants - JAccess invites Jewish community partners to apply for grant funding up to $20,000. This one-year grant will support community partners in launching projects that create more inclusive and accessible communities for people with disabilities. Questions? Contact Amy Murphy (amurphy@jewishatlanta.org).
  • JAccess grant proposals that demonstrate projects and programs that align with JAccess's vision of inclusion will be prioritized for funding.

    True inclusion means creating communities where everyone is genuinely welcomed, respected, and valued as a meaningful contributor. It requires actively identifying and removing physical, social, and attitudinal barriers so that all individuals can fully participate and experience a true sense of belonging.

    When developing an inclusive initative or project, these may be helpful questions to ask yourself:

    • Is it typical and valued by others of the same age and stage?
    • Does it reflect the community, not just people with disabilities?
    • Does it build authentic relationships, offer shared interests, and real community roles?
    • Can it grow, allow for deeper roles, new opportunities, and ongoing connection?
    • Does the initiative foster true belonging, create real friendships, and not just provide services?

    Please refer to the Inclusive Grant Writing Guide below for additional helpful information.

  • JGather Organizational Engagement Grants

    Federation’s JGather Initiative offers grants of up to $5,000 to support meaningful community building through two priority areas: collaborative programming that brings together multiple organizations or groups, and interfaith engagement programming that supports interfaith couples and families as they explore Jewish identity, traditions, and community together, and as they intentionally integrate Judaism into their shared lives.
  • Eligibility: Programs must be primarily focused on community engagement and relationship building; educational or caring elements may be included when they support connection and participation. Programs may focus on one or both priorities. Preference is given to organizations with limited financial and human resources. Questions? Contact Carla Birnbaum at cbirnbaum@jewishatlanta.org

  • JInnovate Grant Application

    Thank you for applying for a renewal grant from JInnovate. We look forward to continuing to partner with you in building a stronger Jewish community. JInnovate accelerates Jewish innovation by investing in transformative, creative, scalable, and community-driven projects that reimagine Jewish life in Atlanta. Our goal as an incubator for new ideas in our community is to act as a catalyst to stimulate innovation and create a pipeline of successful new organizations that help impact our growing community.
  • JInnovate provides an average of $25,000 in funding to support the incubation of Atlanta's new ideas.

    A few areas of impact that we are looking to fund are (but are not limited to):

    • Diverse and inclusive Jewish Engagement;
    • Mental, emotional, and social wellbeing;
    • Jewish ritual and spiritual life;
    • Delivery of social services and justice engaging the Jewish community.
    • Each project/initiative or program that we fund needs to show intentional Jewish engagement through a Jewish lens.

    Along with funding, the JInnovation provides access to our partners at Catchafire and Alloy Foundation. Through these partnerships, we provide our grantees with skilled volunteers, services, and supports needed to deliver transformational impact to the communities they serve.

    Catchafire provides this through an easy-to-use platform and services that empower nonprofits by enabling them to access expertise and guidance in a wide variety of areas critical to their ability to thrive, including:

    • Financial Management;
    • Program Development and Evaluation;
    • Design and Creative Services;
    • Leadership Development and Coaching,
    • Marketing and Communications;
    • Technology and Web Development.

    Through our partnership with Alloy Foundation, JInnovate  is excited to help our Grantees establish a pathway to creating a philanthropy strategy with the support of a grant writer and philanthropy advisor.

  • About YLD:
    Young Leadership Division (YLD) inspires and engages young adults aged 22-40 through community building, leadership development, and philanthropy, fostering the next generation of Jewish leaders in Atlanta.

    About YLD Sponsorships:
    When reviewing sponsorship applications, our committee considers a range of factors that reflect both the strength of the proposal and its alignment with our values. We assess how clearly the organization communicates its goals, the potential for meaningful impact within the Jewish community, and how well the initiative complements the mission of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta and Young Leadership Division. We also take into account the feasibility of the program, the thoughtfulness of the budget, and the organization’s track record with funding and execution. Distinctiveness and innovation are valued, as is the ability to responsibly steward resources.

    Before you apply:
    As part of our sponsorship agreement, we have a few standard requirements:

    • Your event is aligned with YLD’s mission:  As the young adult division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, we are on a mission to inspire young adults, ages 22-40, in all stages of life to connect with their Judaism and Israel. Young Leadership Division builds the future of our Jewish community by focusing on four pillars: LIVE – Social Engagement; LEAD – Leadership Development; SERVE – Volunteer & Social Action; GIVE - Philanthropy.
    • YLD is recognized on all event marketing materials including logo placement and if applicable, links to our webpage and socials.
    • YLD will receive the registration list for the event we are sponsoring.
      Sponsorships awarded to a single organization are limited to two per fiscal year (June-July).
